Keith E. Busse led the team that established Steel Dynamics, Inc. in

1993, building the company's flat-roll mini mill at Butler, Indiana, in a record

14 months. The mill began production in 1996 and became profitable in its

sixth month of operations. Steel Dynamics now has annual revenues of more than $600 million.

 

Busse worked for Nucor Corporation for 21 years, starting as a division controller and rising to vice president and general manager of its Nucor Steel Division at Crawfordsville, Indiana. He led a team that built and operated the world's first

mini mill using thin-slab-casting technology. Busse was named among the top 10 entrepreneurs in the U.S. in 1997 by Business Week magazine and has been recognized for business achievement by a number of other publications and

groups.

 

 

Busse holds an accounting degree from International Business College, a bachelor's degree in business finance from the University of Saint Francis, and a MBA from Indiana University. He received a Distinguished Alumnus Award from

Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne in 1991.
 


 

Mark L. Feldman, Ph.D., is a frequently quoted author, speaker and

authority on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate change. His best-selling

business book, “Five Frogs on a Log: a CEO's Field Guide to Accelerating the

Transition in Mergers, Acquisitions and Gut-Wrenching Change,” has sold over

55,000 copies. As the founder and managing partner of Five Frogs Group, Mark advises private clients on mergers and acquisitions, competitive positioning

and brand strategy. He is Chief Marketing Officer of Virsa System, the leader in enterprise security software. In addition, Mark is a board member for Branuity, a brand strategy firm.

 

Formerly a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mark was the global Practice Leader for PwC's trademarked merger and acquisition consulting business - The Accelerated Transition. He has over 20 years experience in international merger and acquisition consulting. During this period he was also the president of The Rubicon Group and the founder of Rubicon/Pacific Trading, an Asian trading consultancy.


 

Todd Buchholz is a former director of economic policy at the White House,

a managing director of the $15 billion Tiger hedge fund, and an awardwinning

economics teacher at Harvard University. Buchholz is the managing director and co-founder of Enso Capital Management and a regular commentator on ABC News, PBS' Nightly Business Report and often appears on CBS, CNN

and CNBC.

 

Buchholz has written economic commentaries for the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Forbes magazine and Readers Digest. He is the author of numerous books, including Market Shock: 9 Economic and Social Upheavals

That Will Shake Our Financial Future.” His latest book is Bringing the Jobs Home.”

 

Buchholz won the Allyn Young Teaching Prize at Harvard and holds advanced degrees in economics and in law from Cambridge and Harvard.


 
 

Eli S. Lustgarten is one of the best-known and most-quoted industrial sector

securities analysts and is widely recognized as among the most accurate

prognosticators in the business. Since September 2003, he has been senior

vice president and director of equity research for J.B. Hanauer & Co., an

investment firm that specializes in fixed-income securities. He previously was a managing director and director of research at H.C. Wainwright & Co. Inc., and was a managing director of Schroder & Co., Inc. from 1995 until 2000. He began his career as an analyst in 1972 at Mitchell Hutchins, which merged with PaineWebber in 1977.

 

Lustgarten, who was elected to the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team for over 20 years, has also been recognized six times by the Wall Street Journal All-Star Analyst poll.

 

Lustgarten received a bachelor's in electrical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, NY and a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He also received his MBA from Harvard Business School and was named George F. Baker Scholar.
