4 More Days To Get $500 Registration For MSCI’s Carbon Conference

Registration for MSCI's Carbon Conference is now open. Here are four ways MSCI has enhanced the program based on members’ feedback:

  • Members asked to hear more from MSCI members on the state of the industry. MSCI is honored to feature U.S. Steel's Mario Longhi and other members on issues critical to members’ businesses: trade cases, recruiting and retaining new talent, and what to expect from lawmakers in 2017.
  • MSCI has switched the conference to a Tuesday and Wednesday pattern so members don’t have to choose between the conference and their weekend plans.
  • MSCI has created a more flexible schedule that allows for increased informal networking during breaks and meals. For example, Wednesday evening’s “Dine Around” will allow attendees to make new business connections in an informal and fun setting along the San Antonio River Walk.
  • An entire session devoted to steel end markets means members will get an update on the economic outlook for the sectors that matter most to the success of their businesses.

MSCI also is happy to announce that Mario Longhi, president and chief executive officer of the United States Steel Corporation, will be the opening keynote of the Carbon Conference. With decades of experience leading metals companies like Gerdau, Alcoa and U.S. Steel through challenging times, Longhi will provide necessary perspective on the state of global steel oversupply and what it may mean for the survival of a North American steel industry. He'll also address rule of law and how the industrial metals supply chain would change if the United States enforced trade law.

Be equipped to manage global forces affecting your business: register to join MSCI Feb. 21-22 at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. A $500 discount is available to members who register before December 16, 2016. Click here to register and click here to learn more.
