Ann D’Orazio Joins MSCI Staff as Marketing, Growth VP

ROLLING MEADOWS, Illinois, June 14, 2006 – Ann L. D’Orazio, a highly experienced metals industry executive and management consultant, has been named vice president, marketing and strategic growth, for the Metals Service Center Institute.

M. Robert Weidner, III, MSCI’s president and chief executive officer, said “D’Orazio will be responsible for accelerating our growth strategy, developing a consistent marketing message across all of our products and services, and for overseeing consistent development of the MSCI profile in the global metals industry.”

D’Orazio joined Inland Steel Company in 1983 as a buyer-expeditor and rose to be general manager, sales and marketing, for its Ispat Inland Inc. successor.   Among her various positions held were manager, customer satisfaction; manager, Whirlpool sales, and director, appliance and electrical machinery sales.  After leaving Ispat Inland, she served as vice president and general manager, commercial, for Continental AFA Dispensing Co. for two years.  Most recently, Ann was a consultant with Clear Cut Advisors where she worked with clients to develop and improve sales processes.

D’Orazio holds a B.S. degree in materials and logistics management from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.
