Deadline For Submitting Comments On Delaware Basin Fracking Ban Extended
The Energy Equipment and Infrastructure Alliance, of which MSCI is a member, reported last week that the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) has pushed back the deadline for submitting comments on a proposed hydraulic fracturing ban from February 28, 2018 to March 30, 2018 and also has scheduled two additional hearings on the matter.
According to Platts, DRBC Executive Director Steve Tambini said, “The commissioners believe the extended comment period and two additional hearings announced … in response to numerous requests will provide adequate opportunities for the public and government officials to study the proposed regulations and offer input to inform the commissioners' decision-making process.” Metals Service Center Institute members in the Delaware River Basin area are encouraged to comment if they would like.
