Former GOP Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney, Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner To Headline MSCI Annual Meeting

Have you registered for MSCI’s Annual Meeting – to be held May 2-5, 2015 at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park – yet? If not, you’ll want to do so now. For the first time in MSCI’s history, a sitting governor and a former presidential candidate will address our attendees at the same conference.

On Sunday, MSCI President and CEO Bob Weidner will interview former Massachusetts governor and former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Romney won’t give a run-of-the-mill stump speech. Instead, his remarks will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions of Gov. Romney in a relaxed setting. (Registrants will have an opportunity to submit questions in advance of the discussion.) Weidner said, “My conversation with Governor Mitt Romney will be a unique opportunity for members to hear Gov. Romney discuss the business and political issues that matter most to them in a relaxed, approachable environment.” Learn more about the Romney-Weidner fireside chat here

Then, on Monday, Gov. Bruce Rauner (R), who was elected governor of Illinois last November, will join attendees for a private breakfast.

This Annual Meeting will be truly historic! Plus, Jim Cornelison of the Chicago Blackhawks will sing the National Anthems during our opening ceremonies – don’t miss it! Register here right now!
