Intelligence Plus Character

SMM graduates share key takeaways from specialized metals executive education

Martin Luther King, Jr., once said, “Intelligence plus character—that is the goal of true education.” In designing its executive education program, MSCI found that both strategy and leadership were critical components of a curriculum for metals professionals. Participants in MSCI’s Strategic Metals Management (SMM) executive education program conducted with the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis learn not just how to craft a successful strategy, but how to lead effective execution.

We caught up with a handful of graduates of SMM to ask them: What key lesson did you take away from Strategic Metals Management?

To date more than 300 metals professionals have graduated from the program. Class 11 begins in June! Register here!
