Join MSCI This June As We Tell Congress: Metal Matters

The metal’s industry faces strong headwinds. The collapse in commodities, an uncompetitive tax code, the increased reach of federal regulations—all have a profound affect on the metals industry and MSCI members’ ability to provide well-paying jobs and good benefits for their employees.

The metals industry needs to have a voice in these matters. It needs to tell Washington lawmakers how to handle them and to make sure they understand how their decisions impact the metals industry and its employees. In short, members of our industry need to tell federal lawmakers: Metal Matters

That’s why the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI) is giving its members the opportunity to join MSCI and the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) in Washington, DC June 7-8 for the organizations’ annual fly-in

This event will include small-group congressional lobbying visits as well as a congressional reception and sessions with members of the Administration and congressional leadership. It will give members the chance to share their stories and hear from some of the nation’s most prominent voices from the legislative and political arenas.

MSCI members can register by clicking here. During registration, members will be able to request the members of Congress with whom they would like to schedule lobbying visits on Capitol Hill. MSCI will also hold an exclusive dinner for its members who attend the event on June 7th. Registration cutoff is Friday, May 13, and this deadline cannot be extended.
