Just 11 Days Left To Register For MSCI’s June Fly-In To Washington, DC

The metals industry faces strong headwinds. The collapse in commodities, an uncompetitive tax code, the increased reach of federal regulations—all have a profound affect on the industry, and MSCI members’ businesses.

That’s why our industry and our business leaders need to engage federal lawmakers. It’s time to tell them: Metal Matters. This summer, MSCI members will have the opportunity to take their stories and concerns to Washington, D.C. when MSCI and the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) host their annual fly-in on June 7-8, 2016.

The event will include opportunities to meet directly with members of Congress and their staffs in small group settings, as well as a congressional reception and large group sessions with members of the administration and congressional leadership. Members will also have the chance to hear from some of the nation’s most prominent voices from the legislative and political arenas. As part of the event, MSCI will also host a dinner exclusively for its members. To register, click here

At registration, MSCI members can request the members of Congress with whom they would like to meet. Registration cutoff is Friday, May 13 and this deadline cannot be extended. If you have questions, please contact Darci Bertoncello at dbertoncello@msci.org or 847-485-3003.

MSCI recognizes there is deep frustration with Washington and the political process and that there are serious demands on its members’ time. But having members share their personal stories and discuss the impact their businesses have on their communities is the best way to convince policymakers to do what’s right for the metal’s industry. Join MSCI in Washington in June!
