Learn How to Get Your Employees Ready to Vote By Joining MSCI’s Webinar!

MSCI believes that when our employees vote, the business community’s voice is heard. Of course, the first step to toward greater participation is to make it easier for employees to register to vote, which is why on Sept. 15, MSCI will launch its first national voter registration drive. To help members prepare for this event, which will run until the middle of October, MSCI will host a short webinar on Wednesday, Sept. 10 and Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. CST. We have also provided a list of easy ideas and guidelines to help your company execute a successful voter registration day and a flyer advertising MSCI National Voter RegistrationMonth. The flyer can be distributed with employees’ paychecks, posted on a company intranet, hung in breakand lunchrooms and shop floors. (MSCI also reminds members to check out its get out the vote toolkit.) Getting involved in this effort is as easy as notifying your employees about our 2014 MSCI National Voter Registration Month and encouraging them to register to vote. Members who report the results of their efforts to MSCI will be reimbursed up to $150 for the food and beverage expenses associated with any Register to Vote events. Remember: voting matters, because elections matter, but no matter how well we educate our employees about the policy issues, our work won’t count unless they are registered.
