Make Your Voice Heard: Join MSCI In Washington In June!

The Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI) is asking its members again this year to join hundreds of manufacturing executives during the National Association of Manufacturers’ (NAM) Manufacturing Summit June 20-21, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, D.C.

The Summit will include small-group congressional lobbying visits as well as an opening reception and dinner and plenary sessions with members of the Trump administration and congressional leadership. The Summit will provide MSCI members with the opportunity to amplify the voice of the industrial metals supply chain. As a part of your registration, you will be able to participate in all events held during the Summit.

The NAM will schedule lobbying visits with members of Congress on Capitol Hill, so be sure to take advantage of this important opportunity to meet directly with key lawmakers. If you want to select specific events to attend during the Summit, the NAM has an a la carte option. Participants can also sign up for lobbying visits during the registration process.

Hotel room rates will be available at $345 per night, plus applicable taxes. Please ask for the NAM rate when making reservations. The cut-off date for reservations is Monday, May 29, 2017; however once the block is full (which may be before the cut-off date), you may not be able to receive the group rate. To make your hotel arrangements, call the Grand Hyatt at (202) 582-1234 and ask for the NAM Summit rate. Registrants are responsible for making and cancelling their own hotel room reservations. All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card.

All lobbying visits are scheduled as small-group meetings. MSCI cannot guarantee that you will have a meeting exclusively with a particular member of Congress. MSCI looks forward to your participation in the Summit. To register or if you need further information, please contact Tonya Muse, executive director, Council of Manufacturing Associations, at tmuse@nam.org or (202) 637-3130. Questions can be directed to Ann D’Orazio at MCSI, adorazio@msci.org or (847) 485-3000.
