Make Your Voice Heard On EPA Clean Air Rule
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has introduced the Affordable Clean Energy (ACE) regulation, which would return power to the various U.S. states to establish necessary guidelines for implementing and enforcing the standards of performance for clean air laws.
The EPA currently is taking comments from the public on the proposed rule and the Metals Service Center Institute’s partners in the manufacturing industry, including the Council for Manufacturing Associations, have urged member companies to support this new rule, which would allow U.S. states to meet federal clean air requirements without putting manufacturing jobs at risk. CMA has argued the proposed rule would promote innovation, provide manufacturers with credit for early action, and help manufacturers meet and exceed regulatory requirements without putting their competitiveness at risk.
