Metals Service Center Institute Unveils New Website

Rolling Meadows, Ill.– The Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI), a trade organization for the metals industry, unveiled a new enhanced website this week. “Over the past five years MSCI has evolved into a vibrant and dynamic association,” said president and CEO Robert Weidner. “We bring value to members through networking opportunities, education, advocacy and research. The new MSCI.org is a natural step of our evolution and conveys who we are today and the role we have in the industry.”

According to VP of Technology Chris Marti, members and visitors to the site will not only find a new contemporary design and feel, but will also notice it is much easier to navigate. “There are many advantages to the new site including user-friendly menus, a very powerful search engine, and increased functionality,” he added.

Photos and rotating banners add interest, while multiple calendars give users different options for accessing government affairs news and tools, brochures on upcoming events, research reports, chapter news, scholarship program news, and details on a variety of levels of education programs developed specifically for the metals industry.

The updated, dynamic website is now an online destination for members to return to consistently, with regular news updates. New features also enable individuals to see content specific to their interests and product specialization. Chapters will see an improvement in ease of accessing their specific information, and communication with the association’s committees, board of directors, and chapters will also be enhanced.
