MSCI Safety Survey Results

Safety improving for most metals organizations

MSCI’s 2016 Safety Survey results are in, and there’s good news and bad news. The good news: On average, our industry is growing safer. But the bad news is smaller companies, those with less than 200,000 man hours per year, are seeing an increase in the annual number of incidents. Knowing that smaller companies face unique challenges, including fewer designated safety professionals, MSCI created the Safety Excellence Program, in partnership with the National Safety Council to offer a full slate of resources including local training, critical benchmarking and best practices tools.
