MSCI’s Aluminum Conference Is In Less Than One Month—Are You Registered?

Registration for the Metals Service Center Institute’s (MSCI) Aluminum Conference is still open. General John Allen, an honored warrior and veteran of multiple international diplomatic battles, will serve as a keynote speaker at this year’s conference. Allen, who has fought on the battlefield and at world conference tables alongside the three ex-generals (John Kelly, James Mattis, and H.R. McMaster) who today form the security triumvirate in the Trump White House, will offer a unique perspective on global developments.

Jack Hockema, the man who took his company from bankruptcy to industry powerhouse, also will headline this year’s event. Currently CEO and chairman of Kaiser Aluminum, Hockema will look at the metals industry’s current strengths and weaknesses and how those will develop over the next several years. He’ll also discuss what’s driving his two core markets, autos and aerospace, the challenges ahead for both, and will outline the key metrics he uses to track industry growth and the economy.

Hockema isn’t the only vital voice MSCI members can hear at this year Aluminum Conference. Anja Manuel, whose business partners are former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley, and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, also will discuss China, India, and the United States in a fast-changing business and political climate.

Still not convinced you need to register? Here are three more reasons you should attend:

  • Thought leadership. MSCI brings aluminum in focus, with a business program targeting industry issues. Participants will leave with a thorough understanding of external forces that could affect their future success.
  • Formal and informal networking. MSCI’s receptions and dinners provide an unparalleled opportunity to interact with key business partners.
  • Unique experiences. From top to bottom, this three-day event is packed with enjoyable activities and adventures for delegates and guests. Gather with friends and prospects, and foster lasting business relationships.
