REMINDER: Fight Electricity Price Increases: Take Action to Oppose EPA’s Power Plant Rule!

The comment period on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s draft power plant emissions rule ends October 16 and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for 21st Century Energy has asked businesses to sign a letter opposing the rule. The Chamber provides a draft letter on its website that MSCI members can personalize or can simply sign and send. As a reminder, the EPA itself admits this rule would increase electricity costs by six to seven percent annually for all consumers. You can personalize the letter by telling the EPA what your company will have to cut in order to pay for these increased prices. Will you have to reduce employment? Cut benefits? Defer investment? Tell the EPA today!
