  • Fall 2014: The U.S. Labor Department is expected to release new draft overtime regulations.
  • Fall 2014: The National Labor Relations Board is expected to issue ambush elections rule, which will make it easier for unions to organize employees.
  • Nov. 10-16, 2014: President Barack Obama travels to China, Burma and Australia.
  • Nov. 12, 2014, Washington, DC: The U.S. House and Senate return for a post-election “lame duck” session.
