In other news from China, industrial output in the country increased just 5.6 percent from October 2014 to October 2015. It was the lowest reading in six months and was below the 5.8 percent increase economists had predicted. The National Bureau of Statistics said, “The marginal fall in October’s industrial production growth showed support from the rapid development of new industries was still insufficient while traditional industries were having deep corrections. The industrial economy is still facing downward pressures looking forward.”
