Voting Matters

Why voting shouldn’t be a taboo topic in the workplace

Voting is a hard won right in the United States, one that many take for granted.  Unlike citizens of many countries, U.S. citizens do have a voice in how government handles issues and steers the country. Something many may not consider: Employees do care what issues are important to their employer — and which candidates will support those issues.  Here’s some food for thought on the value of your voice and vote, as well as those of your employees and colleagues, as Election Day 2016 quickly approaches.

For more information about getting out the vote, see our Get Out the Vote toolkit.
