Watch MSCI President Bob Weidner’s CEO Update Interview
MSCI President and CEO Bob Weidner was recently interviewed by CEO Update magazine. Weidner discussed his tenure at MSCI and its movement away from a revenue model that depended largely on member dues. Weidner said, “When I came in, we looked at that model and decided more of an à al carte model made sense.” Today, more than half of MSCI’s annual revenue comes from sources other than dues.
Weidner also discussed how trade associations can heighten the value of their services, right-size their staffs and utilize the services of external professionals.
