Shipments Decline Across the Board in the U.S. and Canada

Year over year shipments decline up to 10% in steel and aluminum for both the U.S. and Canada.
U.S. Service Center Activity
U.S. service center steel shipments in April, 2022 decreased by 8.0% from April, 2021. Shipments of aluminum products decreased by 10.0% from the same month in 2021.
Canadian Service Center Activity
Canadian service center steel shipments in April, 2022 decreased by 9.4% from April, 2021. Shipments of aluminum products decreased by 10.6% from the same month in 2021.
