ABOUT FERNAO A. O. CESAR:
Fernao Cesar has held several different roles over his 17 years with
Gerdau. Currently, as Director of Marketing for Gerdau North America, he oversees a team responsible for pricing, product line management, market intelligence, and forecasting. Prior to this, he served as Sales Manager – Construction U.S., where he led initiatives resulting in business growth in the structural steel fabrication segment. Additionally, Fernao has also served as a Product Line Manager, focusing on product strategies for construction materials in North America, including beams, rebar, and piling.
Fernao’s expertise extends internationally, having started his career at Gerdau in Brazil and having interacted regularly with Gerdau operations in Europe and India.
Finally, Fernao also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at the American Institute of Steel Construction, a position he has held since December 2022.
