Does Your Business Export To The UK? Tell USITC Your Priorities For A U.S.-UK Trade Deal
In anticipation of upcoming negotiations on a trade pact between the United States and the United Kingdom (UK), the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC ) has requested that small- and medium-sized companies provide input on trade barriers they have faced when exporting to the UK. Comments are due by March 15, 2019.
Questions to consider include:
- Does your business rely upon trade promotion programs underpinned by the EU that the UK should consider replicating upon exiting the EU?
- Has your business identified issues with exporting to EU countries that the UK could ameliorate as it considers the establishment of new regulatory frameworks following Brexit?
