Metal Shipments Decline Across the Board in February.
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill.
Steel and aluminum shipments declined in both the U.S. and Canada in February compared to February 2019.
U.S. Service Center Activity
U.S. service center steel shipments in February 2020 decreased by 2.4% from February 2019. Shipments of aluminum products decreased by 1.5% from the same month in 2019.
Canadian Service Center Activity
Canadian service center steel shipments in February 2020 decreased by 5.9% from February 2019. Shipments of aluminum products decreased by 0.8% from the same month in 2019.
