Congratulations to the 2021 Central States Scholarship Winners!
The Central States Chapter is pleased to announce eight recipients of its 2021 Scholarship Award in the amount of $2,000 each. These scholarships are only possible through the participation and the support from MSCI Member Companies and we thank you.
- Joseph Brady, son of Joseph Brady of Chicago Tube & Iron Company, will be attending the University of Iowa
- Sadie Clark, son of Todd Clark of Central Steel & Wire Company, will be attending the University of Alabama
- Miranda Elder, daughter of Miriam Freese-Elder of Valbruna Stainless Inc., will be attending Lipscomb University
- Shea Frawley, daughter of Terrie Frawley of Valbruna Stainless Inc., will be attending Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Shea was also a 2020 recipient.
- Zoey Kollhoff, daughter of Rick Kollhoff of Cleveland-Cliffs LLC will be attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Zoey was also a 2020 recipient.
- Alexa Liangos, daughter of Perry Liangos of Ferralloy Corporation – Midwest Division, will be attending DePaul University
- Laura Petronijevic, daughter of Louie Petronijevic of Central Steel & Wire Company, will be attending DePaul University
- Emma Szuba, daughter of Sean Szuba, of Steel Warehouse Company LLC, will be attending Purdue University
