MSCI Wisconsin Chapter Awards Nine Scholarships in 2020!

The Wisconsin Chapter is pleased to announce their 2020 scholarship recipients.  Seven students received a $2,500 scholarship and two students received a $1,000 scholarship to further their education.  Recipients parents work for MSCI member companies.

Nicholas Higley is attending UW Washington County.  Nicholas’ father is Todd Einerson with Howard Precision Metals, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI

Julie Jones is attending University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Julie’s father is Greg Jones with RathGibson in Janesville, WI.

Kobe Krebs is attending Moraine Park Technical College.  Kobe’s father is Eric Van Den Hout with Chicago Tube & Iron Company in Fond Du Lac, WI.

Shane Lapen is attending UW-River Falls .  Shane’s father is Mark Lapen with Metals USA, in Horicon WI.

Janna Lieungh is attending UW-Madison.  Janna’s father is Gary Lieungh with Charter Manufacturing Company in Mequon, WI.

Jared Lieungh is attending UW-Madison.  Jared’s father is Gary Lieungh with Charter Manufacturing Company in Mequon, WI.

Jared McDowell is attending UW-La Crosse.  Jared’s father is Ryan McDowell with Skana Aluminum Company in Manitowoc, WI.

Alyssa Ortiz is attending UW-Madison.  Alyssa’s father is Jose Ortiz with Charter Steel in Saukville, WI.

Ben Stellhorn is attending Santa Clara University.  Ben’s father is Kurt Stellhorn with Basic Metals in Germantown, WI.

Congratulations to these nine young adults, who all remained diligent and focused on their education during challenging times!

The Wisconsin Chapter thanks our member companies, who remained committed to rewarding these deserving students, despite business uncertainties.  Without their generosity, we would not have been able to award $19,500 in scholarships!

Applications for the 2021 Wisconsin Chapter Scholarships will be accepted after January 1, 2021.  The deadline for applications is May 1, 2021.  See the MSCI Chapter Scholarship website for further information.
