China To Continue Penalties On Alloy Steel Seamless Pipe
According to FastmarketsAMM (subscription required) China will maintain anti-dumping duties on some alloy steel seamless steel pipe imported from the United States and European Union for the next five years.
As a result, effective May 10, 2020, China’s State Council Customs Tariff Commission continued to levy anti-dumping duties ranging from 57.9 percent to 147.8 percent.
One analyst to AMM the announcement was “a sign of a new war trade after the epidemic outbreak in China, considering Colombia and Cuba also take the dumping duties of Chinese pipes.”
