We are pleased to welcome back Bob Weidner, National President and CEO of the MSCI on Wednesday, May 17th. It has been four years since Bob has been able to attend an event in Seattle.
Bob will share his unique perspective on the metals industry, from both a national and local level. Bob will speak about current industry trends, what’s new at MSCI, economic news, potential factors such as the Ukraine war, and what impact Russia or China could have on steel pricing and availability. He will also touch on developing and recruiting younger talent, and what new policies might mean for our metals industry. Bob will review 2022 and what the recent events around the World and in Washington D.C. mean for our industry in 2023 and beyond. This is also a great opportunity for you to meet and greet your MSCI colleagues and be present when we announce the winners of the 2023 MSCI Scholarship recipients.
