Andrea Lankford is currently the Corporate Director of Safety for Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. working out of the Los Angeles, CA headquarters where she has been for the last 9 years. Prior to her move to corporate Andrea was the Global Director of Safety for Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. subsidiary Continental Alloys & Service in Spring, TX for 5 years managing the safety at all 9 locations domestically and internationally (Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai & Scotland.) In her years before Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. Andrea found herself working for an oil rig work over company where her passion and love for safety was truly ignited by building and implementing a program from the ground up. Andrea’s specialty is working with compliant companies to help them take the leap to becoming truly safe companies by creating customized processes and programs that not only encourage compliance but build a culture of peer to peer safety with management involvement.
