Jodi Keller is executive vice president of one of the largest metal recycling firms in the nation, where she has been instrumental in United Scrap Metal’s four-fold growth since joining the company in 2002. She was responsible for a consolidated national recycling program across the printing industry that recaptured more than 25-million pounds per year in lithography plates. The program is the fastest growing business segment at USM and earned the company Alcoa’s Top 10 Supplier Award for the last five consecutive years.
In her current role at USM, Jodi is opening new markets for the company, building a team in each market and leading new business efforts with major manufacturing and utility businesses. She has led the company’s growth from one market to eight in the past ten years.
She is a board member at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicago and Northwest Indiana and A Giving Heart Foundation. She and her family have started a Manufacturing Scholarship (The Keller Manufacturing Scholarship) to increase awareness while encouraging a career within STEM. A graduate of Bowling Green State University she is mother of two children.
Cathy Schad is the Vice President of Sales at Skana Aluminum Company in Manitowoc, WI, where she has assumed a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategic vision and ensuring its continued growth since joining in 2010. With a steadfast commitment to excellence, Cathy excels in managing key accounts, nurturing client partnerships, and implementing efficient processes to enhance operational effectiveness. She holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Marketing and has completed various professional development programs, showcasing her dedication to continuous improvement and professional growth.
Active in industry associations, Cathy serves on the boards of the Wisconsin Chapter MSCI and the Aluminum Products Division of the Metal Service Center Institute, contributing her expertise to support the advancement of the industry. Additionally, she is a proud member of AWMI, advocating for women’s progression in the metals industry. She is also a recipient of the Manitowoc County Future 15 award, which honors young professionals who have made significant contributions to their community and demonstrated exemplary leadership.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Cathy is deeply passionate about community service and philanthropy, embodying values of leadership, integrity, and excellence in all aspects of her life. She aspires to visit all 50 states, embracing new experiences and adventures as she continues to pursue her passions and goals.
