Trammell will be joined by her teammate and mentee, Michele Vachon. Vachon joined Big River Steel in 2016 as environmental manager. Later, she became divisional manager of sustainability for Big River’s two steelmaking plants.
Together, the two will address the importance of mentorship, how to build a culture of inclusion, and how to become a more effective leader.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS
Lenore Trammell joined Big River Steel in 2014 as chief compliance officer and general counsel. In 2019, while maintaining her other roles, she was elevated to chief administrative officer. Trammell also serves on Big River Steel’s Executive Committee, is the executive sponsor for the employee resource group, NextGen, and is the Steel Manufacturers Association’s newly elected vice chair at large officer.
Michele Vachon’s current role includes responsibility for the operational side of Big River Steel’s sustainability program, with a focus on environmental, social, and governance.
