Just Three Days Left To Apply For MSCI’s New Safety Innovation And Improvement Award

Did you know that one employee injury costs an average of $117,000 in direct and indirect costs? Safety starts with the culture of an organization, and it is an ongoing journey that never ends, which is why you should join MSCI’s 2019 Safety Conference, which will be held September 25-26, 2019 outside of Chicago.

At this year’s conference, MSCI will recognize and acknowledge two metals organizations that seek new and innovative approaches in their efforts to drive safety improvement towards the elusive “0”. The MSCI Safety Innovation and Improvement Award will be presented to one mill and one service center.

To be considered for the award, MSCI would like metals companies to share their unique innovations and improvement ideas with the metals industry in an effort to encourage all to learn and strengthen their current safety program. The improvement and/or innovative initiative could be management or employee initiated.
