MSCI’s Tubular Conference And You Can Still Secure Your Spot

Registration for MSCI’s Tubular Conference – which is just one week away – is still open.

Dr. Donald R. McNeeley, president and CEO of Chicago Tube and Iron Company and a clinical professor at Northwestern University, will share his perspectives on the metals industry’s challenges in recruiting, training, and retaining top talent and will discuss how to attract individuals who are well-rounded and have experiences in other industries. Dr. McNeeley also will interview a panel of students from Texas A&M’s Industrial Distribution program regarding their career decisions.

As a reminder, this conference also will feature Alan Beaulieu, president, ITR Economics; James Gagliano, Thayer Leader Development Group faculty; and Barry Zekelman, executive chairman and chief executive officer, Zekelman Industries, who will share his outlook on the tubing industry. Additionally, Roger Welling, vice president of Ryder Integrated Logistics, will discuss the future of the trucking industry. Trucking and transportation is a serious concern for the metals sector. Welling will share his expertise on the reality of driverless trucks, new regulations, and increased costs that will affect the metals industry. He also will report on the continued hiring shortages faced by the trucking and transportation sectors.
