Welcome To 2021. What Does MSCI Have In Store?

While the coronavirus pandemic has kept industrial metals industry colleagues from meeting in person, the Metals Service Center Institute is working to develop engaging, online contents for its members. These events are all online and can be accessed by members no matter where they are in the world.

Upcoming events include:

  • January 6, 2021, 1 p.m. CT: MSCI will host a free one-hour webinar with Dr. Mark McClellan, director of Duke University’s Margolis Center for Health Policy. A physician-economist who is at the center of the nation’s efforts to combat the COVID-19, McClellan is author of a roadmap that details the steps needed for a comprehensive COVID-19 response and safe reopening of our country. He also is the former administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and former commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. McClellan will discuss the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines and how it is being managed by the federal and various state governments. We will also discuss the efficacy of the vaccines now becoming available, who should get them, in what order, including essential workers in the metals industry, and what we can all do in the meantime to limit the spread of this virus.
