Congratulations to the 2020 South Atlantic Chapter Scholarship Winners!

The MSCI South Atlantic Chapter has awarded the following recipients a $2,500 scholarship for 2020:

  • Reed Bausmith, son of Reed Monroe Bausmith of Nucor Steel – South Carolina, will be attending the University of South Carolina.
  • Matthew Dailey, son of Colin Dailey of Metals USA Flat Rolled – Randleman, will be attending the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
  • Samuel Gribble, son of Julie Dixon of Metals USA Flat Rolled – Randleman, will be attending the University of North Carolina in Charlotte.
  • Caitlin Keener, daughter of John Keener of Action Stainless & Alloys, will be attending the University of South Carolina at Lancaster.
  • Brett McCraw, son of Mark McCraw of O’Neal Steel, will be attending University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
  • Briana McErlane, daughter of Gary Rogers of Phoenix Metas Company, will be attending the University of South Carolina at Columbia.
  • Thackston Nickell, son of Joshua Nickell of Kloeckner Metals, will be attending Clemson University.
  • Brianna Sawyer, daughter of Jody Sawyer of Nucor Steel Hertford County, will be attending East Carolina University.
  • Hailey Springs, daughter of Joshua Springs of Nucor Steel South Carolina, will be attending the University of South Carolina.
  • Jenna Stachowiak, daughter of Scott Stachowiak of Central Steel & Wire Company, will be attending University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
  • Braeden Whitehurst, son of Dean Whitehurst of Nucor Steel Hertford County, will be attending Paul D. Camp Community College.
