New England Chapter Scholarship Applications Now Being Accepted for 2023!
In 2004, the New England Chapter of the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI) established the Pete Spengler Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund is available to high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who have been accepted to, or are attending, an accredited two or four-year college or university on a full-time basis. The success of this program has been very gratifying, and to date, has awarded over 88 scholarships valued at more than $260,000.
We are extremely proud to announce that in 2023 we will again award eight scholarships valued at $3,000 each. Applicants must fill in the application on the MSCI Scholarship website, get a recommendation from a high school instructor or college professor, and meet the required GPA of 2.5. In addition, applicants must have a parent employed at a member company that is a member in good standing, of not only MSCI National, but the local chapter as well. If you are a previous scholarship recipient, you may apply every other year.
