Global News Of Note: Canada Takes Action Against Steel Strapping Imports

- On Sept. 16, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) issued its preliminary determinations of dumping of steel strapping originating in or exported from China, South Korea, Turkey, and Vietnam, and subsidizing on these products from China. Provisional duties, including anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD), are now in effect for goods that were released from the CBSA on or after Sept. 16. The duty rate is 9.2 percent-48.8 percent for China, 2.3 percent-33.4 percent for South Korea, 42.3 percent for Turkey, and 3.5 percent-40.4 percent for Vietnam. Read more at this link.
