Service Center Shipments Down Year-Over-Year in September
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill
The MSCI Metals activity report for the month of September, 2022 shows steel and aluminum activity decreased in both countries from year ago levels.
U.S. Service Center Activity
U.S. service center steel shipments in September, 2022 decreased by 0.1% from September, 2021. Shipments of aluminum products decreased by 2.3% from the same month in 2021.
Canadian Service Center Activity
Canadian service center steel shipments in September, 2022 decreased by 1.7% from September 2021. Shipments of aluminum products decreased by 11.3% from the same month in 2021.
