Don’t Miss MSCI’s COVID-19 Webinars

The Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI) continues to hold weekly webinars related COVID-19. Upcoming webinars are:

  • Tuesday, May 26, at 1 p.m. CT: One-hour webinar on OSHA guidance for COVID-19. Bill Miossi, partner at Winston & Strawn, will help members understand how to incorporate guidance in order to provide a safe and healthful workplace for employees. Click here to register.
  • On Thursday, June 4 at 1 p.m. CT: Half-hour webinar that will offer guidance and tips for adopting and administering remote work arrangements and explore strategies to improve the engagement and productivity of remote employees. Click here to register.

If members did not have a chance to attend last week’s webinar with Elizabeth Rust, Keybridge Research senior economist, on “The Realities of Offshoring,” a replay is on MSCI’s YouTube channel. Elizabeth outlined the results of a study examining the effects of manufacturing offshoring on North American service center shipments.

MSCI will be exploring this issue more in the coming months, and this presentation sets the stage for that discussion.
