Ensuring employee safety helps companies reduce insurance costs and attract top talent. In 2026, MSCI will again release an industry-specific safety benchmarking survey, highlight safety tools and innovations during our Safety Summit, and offer metals-specific courses for safety leaders, operations experts, and executives.

MSCI’s Lifelong Learning Opportunities. MSCI offers professional development courses for current executives, future leaders, sales personnel, operations managers, new recruits, and more. In 2025, more than 500 people participated in these courses, which include Fundamentals of Metallurgy, Battle Tested Leadership Principles, Strategic Metals Management, and more.

In 2025, we hosted 32 webinars that attracted more than 5,300 registrants. Since 2020, we have hosted 240 webinars with more than 50,000 registrants!

In 2025, we welcomed nearly 1,000 mill, service center and affiliate leaders to our Steel Conference and Annual Meeting, Economic Summit, Safety Summit, and Aluminum Conference. Give Back To Employees Through The MSCI Chapter Scholarship Program. Through its regional chapters, MSCI provides scholarships to the children of employees of MSCI member companies who are pursuing postsecondary education. In 2025, chapters awarded 477 scholarships totaling nearly $1.2 million. Since 2004, MSCI has awarded more than 6,000 scholarships totaling nearly $13.5 million. This program is one of the most valued benefits of MSCI membership and reflects our deep appreciation for the people who power our industry every day.
